Washington, more research for Twilight Fan Trips

Another three days in Washington in the Olympic Peninsula, La Push, the Quileute Reservation and Forks meeting with people, hiking through forests, investigating locations. Love my job!

Then the hard work begins when I get back to the office. Sifting through all of the information, choosing the best of the best to create the perfect fan tour. Keep those comments and suggestions coming; we review all of them when developing trips.

Checking out Portland for Twilight Fan Trips

Portland is a fantastic city with a great funky edge to it. No wonder the cast and crew were delighted to settle down and unusually stay in one place for much of the filming. I have three full days ahead of me to research locations, hike around the lush vegetation of the Columbia River Gorge, inspect hotels, and sample lots of restaurants – what could be better!

Twilight Fan Trips

My first night in Portland, Oregon – where the majority of film locations are located for Twilight. I am so excited to start working on the trip designs for Twilight Fan Trips™. After our very bright administrative assistant handed me Twilight to read on my family’s vacation, I have read the entire series (to date), read all the official and fan websites, have been speaking with fans and fan webmasters, researching locations…………basically immersing myself in this new fantasy world.
